Danielle Kemp | Professional Development Co-Ordinator

A red carpet welcome to Danielle The-Globetrotting-Growth-Driver Kemp, our very own systems mastermind who spent over 16 years on international shores, honing her skills as an educator and department leader.

Her whirlwind adventures took her across China, Thailand, Ecuador and back to South Africa, where she fulfills the role of Empower-Ed’s Professional Development Co-ordinator.

Her portfolio of qualifications reads like the checklist of champions. She holds a BCom in Sport Management and a BSc Honours in Movement Science from North-West University. Add to that a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from UNISA and a Master’s degree in International Education from Framingham State University, and she brings some serious academic firepower to the table.

Her role focuses on supporting schools and teachers with CPTD compliance, assisting with professional development opportunities, coordinating providers and offering administrative and systems support.

When she’s not helping us build the invaluable relationships that keep our engines churning, you’ll find her in the wild South African outback, conquering a hiking trail, whizzing past on a bike or chasing her next PB on the road. She’s also rather partial to a spot of Padel, a bout against the boxing bag and some good ol’ quality time with family and friends.

Her professional philosophy is that solid systems and strong relationships go hand-in-hand, and she’s got what it takes to make it happen, from power spreadsheets to golden handshakes.
